Byron Ayala Custode

Dr. Byron Ayala Custode is a legal expert with over 60 years of professional experience. He holds a Doctorate in Jurisprudence and is an Attorney at Law of the Courts of the Republic of Ecuador, graduated from the Universidad Central del Ecuador (UCE).

 

His extensive career covers several key areas of law, including constitutional law, administrative litigation, oil law, contract law, labor law, public procurement, and arbitration and mediation.

Dr. Ayala has served as legal counsel for numerous public and private entities, notably as the Chief Legal Officer of EP Petroecuador. Additionally, he has represented countless local arbitrations and held prestigious roles such as former member of the Constitutional Court and former Judge Minister of the Administrative Litigation Court. He is also an accredited arbitrator at CENAMACO.

Currently, Dr. Ayala is a Counselor at GA, where he continues to apply his deep legal knowledge to guide and support clients in complex legal matters.
